As a wedding planner, Amazon has become a lifeline. There are SO many things literally at your fingertips but I'm going to give you a list of must-haves and often forgotten items that you might want to invest in for your big day! Ready for these affordable amazon wedding items? Let's go!
If you are having taper candles, prevent them from slipping or being crooked with this! It's basically a waxy/sticky substance that you dip the candle in, then place the candle into its holder. It should secure it all night long!
If your venue does not allow real flame candles, these guys are the next best thing thing. They flicker with a beautiful warm light and are dipped in wax so they look real!
In the top 5 of "most forgotten wedding items" is a cake cutting set. Don't forget to purchase one of these! This is under $10 on Amazon which makes it super affordable and something you can use afterwards as well. Be sure to have one of these or else you'll be stuck using a fork or knife or even your hands and we don't want that!
Even if you aren't planning on having a traditional champagne toast for everyone, I still recommend picking out some stylish champagne flutes just for you two. It is always a beautiful extra detail on your sweetheart table and a memento for years to come! I absolutely love this design, they are different and not your everyday champagne flutes.
Ring box for detail photos and ring bearer to hold
Even if your ring came in a box, I recommend purchasing one that fits your wedding design theme. This oval one fits 3 rings- your engagement ring and two wedding bands! Plus it is a designated item to always hold your rings for the ringbearer.
PENS. They are always forgotten. So then we ask the hotel for some and they're just not cute. OR you only supplied one that came with your guest book! Think ahead and purchase a set of at least 12 pretty pens that will be useful and also look good in photos when your photographer comes around!
Sometimes your florist will only provide the loose petals in a box or bag. So when the time comes and you don't have a basket for your flower girl? Yes, I am begging the hotel or doordashing from Target to find one for you! Be sure to just get one ahead of time to check that off your list. Plus if gives you the opportunity to choose one in your style!
It never fails, we have to reserve a row or two for your family in the ceremony. And sometimes ushers might not be available to lead people to their seats, so just bank on purchasing a couple of signs to show people that these spaces are off limits.
This isn't necessarily a forgotten item but I wanted to put out a PSA... no more clear acrylic signs please! They are so hard to read. If you want that same look, go for these wood ones that are carved out so you still have that "negative space" look.
Again, not typically forgotten but very important. Have a designated space for cards so that your coordinator can put them in your car or hotel room towards the end of the night. Even a wicker basket will do! Something that is put together so that we aren't scrambling to gather loose cards or worried that something might get stolen.
Okay if you are allowed confetti- it is SO FUN! For the end of the night send-off or just during the dance party. They really bring so much life to the dance floor and celebration as a whole!
If you can't get the confetti- DO THE GLOW STICKS! They are SO fun, bringing life and excitement to the dance floor plus if you have kids at the wedding they are a great thing for them to play with and get some energy out!
It is inevitable. There will be a wardrobe malfunction. The Stitchy is your life saver! It will help any small sleeve slippage or too-long pants for a quick fix before walking down the aisle.
Okay random? I think not. White Chalk will perfectly conceal any stains or blemishes in your dress right before you walk down the aisle. I know it's something you don't want to think about but it is tried and true.
So there's a quick Amazon Haul. What do you want to see next? Is there a specific wedding theme you are planning and want to see what I would get for that? Let me know!
Until then, Happy Wedding Planning!
